The #ANRTOUR2024 commenced at the University of Lagos on 17th July 2024. A first-of-a-kind project born out of a need for executives to start scouting talents in person, the head of the A&R department of Chocolate City Osagie Onobun popularly known as 10Ten took to the roads to hit various parts of the country to scout talents in their regions.
The regions selected in Nigeria were the University of Lagos, Enugu, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife and the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta. The #A&RTOUR2024 aims to do more than just spotlight these artists as a select few of these artists from each region will be added to 10Ten’s Upcoming 1823 album. Many of these artists will also be pitched to labels to ensure they have a shot at being signed and their careers progress forward.
With the 2025 year in progress and in anticipation of the 10Ten 1823 project, only time will tell which of these artists will be the first to take advantage of this platform and break out to become our next Afrobeats Superstar.
