Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has set social media abuzz after confirming his romantic relationship with Edo State politician, Natasha Osawaru.
The revelation comes in the wake of his recent separation from his wife and long-time partner, Annie Idibia. Addressing growing speculation, 2Baba expressed his desire to continue his romantic relationship with Edo state politician, Natasha Osawaru. He dismissed allegations that she played a role in his marital split.
Also, videos of 2Baba and Osawaru spotted together in various locations had fueled widespread speculation. This has prompted the singer to address the situation in a now-deleted social media post. The caption of the post read: “To Whom It May Kwansighn. #I don yarn my truth. Feel free to continue alleging. We shall all be alright.”
While in a video statement, 2Baba criticized the false narratives circulating about his new relationship. He stressed that Osawaru should not be blamed for his separation from Annie.
“Allegedly, I have been seeing so many things, so many people coming up with their own false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted that stuff that I posted. Yes, I posted what I posted,” he said.
Meanwhile, defending Osawaru, he added: “Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labelled as a home breaker. She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman, and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage. Yes, I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her.”
