Controversial rapper 50 Cent has broken his silence on the sex trafficking and rape allegations against music mogul Diddy. These allegations have resurfaced as Diddy faces a second wave of sexual assault lawsuits, including an accusation that he drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl.

Diddy’s sex trafficking charges have become a major topic in the music industry, especially as he was arrested last month in Manhattan following an investigation into alleged sex trafficking activities.

Among the accusations, Diddy is alleged to have drugged and raped victims as young as nine. Sean “Diddy” Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges, but the allegations of Diddy’s sex trafficking have sent shockwaves through the entertainment world. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, addressed Combs’ alleged actions and reflected on his own past behaviour of mocking Combs online and at concerts.

50 Cent stated, “Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t. It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for ten years. Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news… I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time because this is not my style.’”

The long-running feud between the two rappers, dating back to the 1990s, has never included friendship. In 2006, 50 Cent released his diss track “The Bomb,” in which he accused Diddy of being involved in the 1997 murder of fellow artist Biggie Smalls. Rumours have long circulated about Diddy’s knowledge of the deaths of both Biggie and Tupac, and Diddy has been named in legal papers regarding Tupac’s case, though he denies any involvement.

More recently, in both 2018 and 2024, 50 Cent expressed discomfort about Diddy, which he had felt for years. Now, 50 Cent has announced plans to release a docuseries on Netflix, which will delve into the sexual assault and violence allegations surrounding Diddy, including the sex trafficking charges.

The upcoming docuseries will be executive produced by 50 Cent through his G-Unit Film & Television banner. A statement from the production team reads, “This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”

As Diddy’s sex trafficking allegations continue to surface, they include claims of sexual abuse going as far back as the 1990s, including the drugging of a 13-year-old girl in 2000 and the rape of a man in 2022. These accusations will form part of the docuseries, which seeks to shed light on the serious allegations against one of hip-hop’s biggest names.
