Afrobeat singer Omah Lay gives a shoutout to the lady he danced with during his London concert.
Omah Lay has expressed gratitude towards the female fan with whom he danced onstage during his performance at the Eventim Apollo in London on February 20, 2024, as part of his Boy Alone Tour in Europe.
The incident sparked controversy when Omah Lay invited the female fan, reportedly accompanied by her boyfriend, to join him while performing the song Bend You. Videos of their interaction, shared online by attendees, sparked criticism from many.

Despite facing backlash, Omah Lay has conveyed his affection for the fan. In a circulating video on social media, British-Nigerian media personality Shopsydoo encouraged Omah Lay to acknowledge the fan, referred to as Fafa, which he did with a shoutout. He said, “Fafa, that’s her name? Fafa, I love you”.
