Popular Nigerian skit maker turn singer, Michael Nasiru Lawal, widely known as Nasboi, hosted a lavish cocktail party to celebrate his hit track “Umbrella” featuring Wande Coal.
The star-studded event, held in Lagos on Sunday, January 7, 2024, drew attention as videos from the party surfaced online.
The gathering boasted a celebrity lineup, including the presence of rappers Falz and Skales, comedian Bovi, singer Paul Okoye with his partner Ivy Ifeoma, skit makers, Lasisi Elenu, MC Lively and Broda Shaggy amongst others.
Lasisi, capturing a moment on the red carpet, expressed his excitement in the caption: “Pulled Up at the Biggest Umbrella Cocktail Party for none other than @iamnasboi. Baba no loud am.”
Nasboi shared pictures and a short moment from the party on his Instagram page, expressing gratitude to all attendees and his team with the caption, “No Words. Thank you.”
The party also featured clips of attendees arriving with their umbrellas, adding a unique touch to the celebration.
