Today April 08, 2023, Nigerian street pop artiste Portable drops a brand new song title, “AM NOT A PRISONER“. The single which is a follow up to ‘Prayer‘, serves as his 6th release for the year 2023. The Zeh Nation boss shows no sign of slowing down as he continues to drop banger upon banger!
The highly anticipated song, ‘Am Not A Prisoner‘, was first previewed by Portable after his release from court and police custody. He shared a snippet on his Instagram page, in which he reminisced about his time with the Nigerian police and declared that he was not a prisoner. In a line of the song, Dr Zeh (aka Zazoo) warned he would report any backbiters and person that calls him a criminal to the police.
The lyrics read: “Them carry me go prison I no collect cloth, I am not a prisoner. Talk behind my back and see me call the police…”
It would be recall that the Zazzu star resisted arrest when some police officers stormed his Odogwu Bar and Restaurant to whisk him away. Portable challenged them to know the reason for them showing up and went on Instagram live to reveal that a Yahoo boy hired 20 police officers to intimidate him. Resisting arrest, Portable said no one can take him away from his Zoo.
After the whole controversy, Portable hit the studio to put his emotions into music and the outcome is ‘Am Not A Prisoner’. As produced by street hit makers- 2Tboyz, Listen and Enjoy!!!
