Nigerian singer, Eedris Abdulkareem has disclosed that Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law, has apologized for his public endorsement of Bola Tinubu for president at a recent event in Lagos.

Abdulkareem shared this revelation during an interview on The Honest Bunch, released on Moday, February 19, 2024, shedding light on Seyi Law’s change of stance regarding his political allegiance.

According to Abdulkareem, Seyi Law took the stage at a recent event and issued a public apology for his previous endorsement of Tinubu during the last general elections. Seyi Law reportedly acknowledged the worsening economic situation in Nigeria and the backlash he has faced from Nigerians online following his endorsement.

Seyi Law clarified that despite his support for Tinubu’s mandate for Nigeria, he did not receive any financial compensation from the Tinubu administration. However, amidst the deteriorating economic conditions and mounting criticism from the public, Seyi Law opted to backtrack on his previous endorsement.

The revelation from Abdulkareem comes in the wake of Seyi Law’s reaffirmation of his decision to support Tinubu, despite the economic challenges facing the country. Seyi Law’s apology signals a shift in his political stance and a recognition of the concerns raised by Nigerians regarding his endorsement.

Abdulkareem’s disclosure adds a new dimension to Seyi Law’s political journey, highlighting the complexities and evolving perspectives within Nigeria’s political landscape.
