One name most Chelsea supporters don’t want to hear right now is Mauricio Pochettino following the team’s disappointing performance against Liverpool in the final of the Carabao Cup.
The Argentine international has asked the supporters of the club for more time. He made this known when he was speaking in a pre-match conference ahead of the fifth round FA Cup tie against Leeds United.
He said,
“We feel disappointed. Of course. It’s Chelsea and so it’s about winning. Liverpool spent four years, Klopp didn’t win a title but had the support of the club to keep going. Look, now they are getting what they deserve “
Pochettino has not been in the good books of the club’s supporters since the beginning of this season (2023/24) due to a series of bad results and the club’s current position. However, the board at the club have been showing their support for him despite the poor results.
