Burna Boy, the renowned African Giant, has responded to the acknowledgment from the Boston City Council, where they have designated a day in his honor.

Recall that Notjustokay reported that the Boston City Council gave Burna Boy a day named after him. The African giant was the first and only African artist to sell out the 20,000-capacity TD Garden in Boston, USA. During his electrifying sold-out performance at the TD Garden Arena in Massachusetts, the afrobeat singer made history. He received a prestigious US government-certified plaque in his honor.

This plaque officially recognizes his monumental contributions to music and culture, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career. Responding to this recognition, the African giant expressed his feelings about the accomplishment on social media. He shared that he is deeply honored and privileged by the declaration of March 2nd as Burna Boy Day in the city of Boston.

I feel incredibly honoured and privileged! Thank you Boston! 💚

The goal has always been the same, to bring the world together. We are all so different but all the same!
