Here is how much each fighter might make from the highly anticipated fight, Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou this Friday.

On Friday, March 8, 2024, boxing fans will witness a highly anticipated match between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This fight is expected to be a huge event in the boxing world and attract a massive audience, both in person and via pay-per-view. Anthony Joshua, a former world champion, is looking to reclaim his title after losing it to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021.

He is determined to prove himself and make a triumphant comeback. On the other hand, Francis Ngannou, a former UFC champion, is looking to capitalize on his debut boxing match against Tyson Fury and secure his first victory in boxing. Both boxers are set to pocket millions of dollars in prize money, regardless of the fight’s outcome.

While the official figures for the prize money have yet to be confirmed, reports indicate that Anthony Joshua is in line to earn almost $50m (£40m), making it one of the highest-paying fights in boxing history. However, it’s almost certain that Ngannou will earn significantly more than his last fight against Tyson Fury, where he took home $10m (£7.8m).

Reports suggest that he will make at least $20m, which would be double what he earned in his previous fight. It’s worth noting that the purse does not include pay-per-view money or fees for winning.
