Rema and Amaarae will perform at Dreamville Festival

Nigerian star Rema and Ghanaian artist Amaarae will be performing at Dreamville Fest in April.

Dreamville Festival is a weekend-long outdoor music extravaganza organized by the globally renowned hip-hop sensation J. Cole and his Dreamville team. The 2024 edition is scheduled for April 6 to April 7, 2024. Joining Rema and Amaarae are R&B stars SZA and Chris Brown, Teezo Touchdown, J.I.D. ScHoolboy Q, Sexyy Red, Nicki Minaj, and Muni Long.

A part of the ticket sales revenue will go towards supporting the festival’s chosen charities, namely the Dreamville Foundation and Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy. Dreamville Fest remains committed to fostering a sense of community, promoting diversity, and ensuring inclusivity during the annual fan experience held each spring.

In addition to his Dreamville Fest performance, Rema’s smash single Calm Down has been ranked the second biggest global single. Calm Down by Rema featuring Selena Gomez has been crowned the biggest African single of 2023 as well as the second biggest global single of the year 2023. The official announcement was made by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). Flowers by Miley Cyrus ranked number 1 while Rema’s Calm Down ranked number 2 on the biggest singles of 2023.
