Davido set to perform at Hot 97’s Summer Festival

King of Afrobeat Davido has joined the star-studded lineup for the Hot 97 summer jam festival.

Hot 97 Summer Jam has unveiled Nigerian artist Davido as a performer for the festival. Davido will join other international artists such as Doja Cat, Offset, and Sexxy Red. The festival is scheduled for June 2, 2024, at the UBS Arena in New York City.

HOT 97’s Summer Jam stands as the largest live Hip Hop music and culture extravaganza, dominating New York City with an impressive lineup of top-tier Hip Hop artists all sharing one stage. Widely regarded as the ultimate Hip Hop event globally, it returns for its 30th anniversary, reaffirming its status as the pinnacle platform for the genre’s megastars.

The King of Afrobeat recently released his music video for Away off the timeless album. The music video featured the football players of Real Madrid. In addition to his upcoming performance at Hot 97 Jam, Davido has also announced the completion of his fifth studio album. He said this during his live stream session with Twitch streamer Kai Cenat. During their live meetup, Davido announced that he had completed his new album. He also revealed that it consists of 15 songs and has six artist features.
