Popular singer, Iyanya has revealed that he lent his support to Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson’s book, I Am Not Yvonne Nelson without realizing he was featured in it.

The book delves into Nelson’s personal experiences, including her relationship with Iyanya and his alleged involvement with Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh, detailed in a chapter titled “Iyanya And My Love Life.”

During an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos that surfaced online on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Iyanya confessed to being taken aback upon learning about his presence in Nelson’s book. Despite widespread curiosity surrounding the revelations made in the book, Iyanya admitted that he was yet to read it.

Despite his prior commitment to addressing the allegations outlined in Nelson’s book upon its release in 2023, Iyanya indicated that he is not currently inclined to respond to the claims of infidelity. However, he emphasized that he and Nelson maintain a friendly relationship and continue to keep in touch.

In his own words, Iyanya stated, “I endorsed Yvonne Nelson’s book without knowing I was in the book. We were cool, we still talk to this day, so I didn’t know that I was in the book. When the book came out, everywhere was buzzing. People were telling me I am in the book. But I have not read it till now. I know I promised to address the allegations she made in her book, but I’m not ready to respond. I’m not going to respond to stuff like that, being me comes with a lot of madness.”
