Nigerian superstar Wizkid recently had a heated exchange with one of his fans on social media.

The fan disagreed with Wizkid’s opinion on a particular topic, and the singer did not take kindly to the disagreement. In a series of tweets, Wizkid slammed the fan saying “That one na ur papa business”, which is a derogatory statement.

Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is known for his energetic stage performances and charismatic presence. He has released four studio albums, including the critically acclaimed Made in Lagos, which received praise for its fusion of Afrobeats with various international genres. The singer has a massive fan base in Nigeria and globally, with fans often referred to as “Wizkid FC.”

The incident occurred when the fan disagreed with Wizkid’s recent statement about love and money. In response, Wizkid attacked the fan and Wizkid’s fans have since reacted to the incident, with some expressing support for the singer and others criticizing his behaviour. Some fans defended Wizkid, stating that he is entitled to his opinions and should not be attacked for expressing them. Others, however, criticized the singer for his choice of words and accused him of being disrespectful to his fans.

Wizkid’s recent exchange with a fan has sparked a debate about the role of celebrities in engaging with their fans and the importance of respect in public discourse. As one of Nigeria’s most influential musicians, Wizkid’s actions have a significant impact on his fan base and the wider music industry.
