Fans of Nigerian singer, Asake have taken to social media to express their disappointment and anger after the artist announced his 2024 world tour dates, leaving out several countries from the list.

While Asake’s post on Monday, June 10, 2024, generated excitement from fans in included cities like Houston, Atlanta, New York, Berlin, and Paris, those from omitted countries flooded the comment section with pleas and complaints.

“A city near you but no Lagos” wrote one fan. “Eje come do show for ikorodu na” asked another. “How many arenas I see for here. This bro don go faar o” chimed in a third.

The outcry highlights the anticipation and devotion of Asake’s global fan base, eagerly awaiting his Lungu Boy World Tour and a promised new album. Despite the excitement, the snub has left a sour taste in the mouths of many, hoping for a chance to see the singer perform live.
