Nigerian hip-hop star Ladipoe is gearing up to take center stage at the Hennessy Cypher Africa 2024.

The cypher is an annual lyrical showdown that brings together some of the continent’s hottest rap talents.

Joining Ladipoe on the mic is a powerful lineup. From Ivory Coast is the rising star Didi B. Then Kenya’s lyrical powerhouse Khaligraph Jones will be there. He is a legend revered for his complex wordplay and social commentary.

Following is Ghana’s heavyweight Sarkodie. The artist recently released BRAG, a song that he slammed other rappers for. Sarkodie is respected for his longevity and ability to seamlessly blend English and Twi, his native dialect.

Also in attendance is Tanzania’s fast-rising rapper Young Lunya.  Rounding out the crew is South Africa’s Maglera Doeboy, a kwaito and hip-hop fusion artist known for his raw energy and streetwise bars.
