Chelsea Football Club are reportedly set to open talks with Super Eagles and Atalanta’s forward player, Ademola Lookman.
Italian sport-based news outlet Calciomercato confirmed that Chelsea are willing to pay up to €60 million for the Nigerian player, Ademola Lookman if he becomes available. The Blues are working around the clock to find a player who can support Nicolas Jackson up front going into the 2024/25 season.
Lookman was the hero of the Europa League final when he led his team to victory over Bayer Leverkusen, scoring a hattrick in the game. He ended the unbeaten run of the 2023/24 Bundesliga Champions led by Xabi Alonso. However, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich are also interested in getting the Nigerian.
Chelsea have also agreed on a deal with Aston Villa’s Omari Kellyman, Barcelona’s Marc Guiu and Palmerias’ Estêvão Willian as they look to challenge for trophies next season under Enzo Maresca.
