Chelsea Football Club have confirmed its second official signing of the 2024/25 season, Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa.
Chelsea announced the arrival of the youngster on its website on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Omari Kellyman signed a six-year deal, which is expected to see him remain at Stamford Bridge at least until 2030.
Kellyman expressed his delight on the official website of the club, he mentioned that he looking forward to join the rest of the team ahead of the new season.
He said,
‘It is fantastic to be standing here as a Chelsea player. It’s a massive club with an amazing history, so it is great to join. It is a dream come true for sure. I’m buzzing to have put on the shirt and can’t wait to get started.”
Kellyman started his career at Derby County and spent ten years with the club before signing with Aston Villa in 2022. He made his first-team debut in August 2023 during a 3–0 Europa Conference League victory over Hibernian.
He went on to make five further senior appearances last season, which included League games against Manchester City and Crystal Palace.
