Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has claimed that it is insulting for anyone to downplay his relevance as, says he’s now on the same level as Afrobeats heavyweights, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
After facing heavy backlash over his recent tweet declaring a “Big 4,” Rema emphasized his dominant status in the industry.
The ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker, in his latest single, “Hehehe,” addressed the ongoing debate surrounding his place among Afrobeats superstars.
In his song, Rema said:
“No more big 3, there’s now a big 4. People go para but what for? Dem go say I don’t deserve it but that is an insult.
