Early today, popular Streamer, YouTuber and UK Musician Yung filly was arrested and extradited to Australia on charges of sexual and physical assault.
The rapper popular on the digital community was charged on four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault and one count of impeding a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to their neck.
Clips have surfaced from as far back as 7 years ago where he is seen interviewing young and underage girls and being in uncomfortable positions with them. His recent arrest won’t be the first time he’s been in the news for these types of allegations as several women have come out to accuse him over the years, making videos and tweets about the behaviors of the UK Rapper.
One begins to wonder, why does a world famous, rich 29 year old who has millions of followers across many digital platforms and thousands of female fans in many continents with a heavily religious friend group resort to sexual assault to fulfill his desires? Why exactly?
It’s always something I’ve battled with. Trying to understand why a celebrity that has the money, influence and success level that these guys possess would resort to sexual assault to get what he wants. Even people that aren’t successful can seek consent. People that aren’t so successful have no issues having their sexual needs and desires fulfilled.
It’s about to be very chaotic for the UK influencer scene, as Yung Filly works with everybody, and by everybody I mean everybody. All the top influencers in that space are affiliated with him, and are about to have their deals and endorsements questioned by their employers.
It also puts a stain on the YouTube community, as a lot of streamers are associated with YungFilly. Groups like The Sidemen, Beta Squad, AMP, and individuals like Nella Rose, Harry Pinero, Chunkz and a lot more are heavily associated with Yung Filly.
A lot of celebrities are under the analysis of the public eye for sexual assault, as Diddy was exposed not too long ago. It would be important to note that the authorities have said on several occasions that the Diddy case would roll over and affect some other celebrities as he isn’t the only perpetrator of those crimes. One can only wonder if it’s the same for the case of our UK influencer and his social clique.
