Chelsea’s top star and future signing Estevão Willian has equaled Neymar Jr.’s goal contribution record for Brazil at the age of 17.
Chelsea’s wunderkid Estevão Willian who is currently on loan at Palmeiras has equalled Neymar Jr.’s goalscoring or contribution record in the Brazil club football division called the Brasileirão.
In just 22 games at the age of 17, Willian has tallied 16 goals and 16 assists, outpacing Neymar, who required 33 games to accomplish that total while at Santos. He gained international recognition following his outstanding performances, prompting Premier League giants, Chelsea to come knocking.
The English team signed an agreement with both Willian and his club that will see the youngster on his way to England in July 2025 and the transfer price is expected to be around £56 million. Willian is expected to officially sign with Chelsea on his 18th birthday.

Neymar, who has previously praised Estevao as a future “genius,” showed his full support after hearing the recent news.
The former PSG and Barcelona star reposted Estevao’s Instagram message following his record-breaking game, writing, “Congratulations @estevaowillian on breaking the record. Keep shining and impressing everyone with your football. Fly high.”
Estevao also mimicked Neymar’s ‘cry-baby’ celebration in his post, which the 32-year-old appreciated, responding with emojis.
