Singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, recently weighed in on Speed Darlington’s diss track, “Baby Oil,” released after Burna Boy helped secure his release from police custody.

Diss Track

In a post on X, Skales called the diss track a “hit” and mentioned that it reminded him of Tupac’s iconic “Hit Em Up.” This statement drew attention due to the rocky relationship between Speed Darlington and Burna Boy, marked by previous incidents. Speed Darlington had accused Burna Boy of being involved with American rapper Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy, and questioned how many bottles of baby oil P. Diddy might have used on him.

Following Speed Darlington’s controversial diss track, Burna Boy filed a police report, leading to Darlington’s arrest. After his release, he apologized, though the incident left fans divided. Many supporters of Burna Boy saw Skales’ praise of the diss track as an attempt to provoke Burna Boy, viewing it as disrespectful given Burna Boy’s positive impact on Skales’ career.

In other news, has opened up about his thoughts on not having multiple baby mamas.

baby mamas

In a recent interview, the artist expressed regret over the matter, revealing that he is the last surviving member of his family bloodline.

Skales shared, “I regret not having baby mamas, I really regret. Because I am like the only person in my family bloodline that is still alive. So, the bloodline relies on me to reproduce and continue my lineage.”

He reflected on the loss of his family members, especially his mother, which brought the reality of his situation to the forefront. “I realized there was not much of my bloodline when I lost everyone, including my mother,” he added. Skales’ comments about baby mamas have sparked discussions, especially given the cultural expectations surrounding legacy and family continuation.

Meanwhile, in another story, a Nigerian woman surprised social media users by sharing a humorous incident involving her cousin. She revealed that her cousin, who had a flight to the UK at 5 p.m., left for the airport as early as 7 a.m. This revelation quickly caught the attention of users on X (formerly Twitter), where she added laughing emojis to highlight the unusual early departure.

Her post read: “My cousin is traveling to the UK tonight. The flight is at 5 p.m., but he left for the airport around 7 a.m. ??.”

The story garnered widespread amusement, with many commenters joking that her cousin left so early to “avoid village people” or to ensure nothing hindered his journey to the UK.
