Saint West’s YouTube channel was taken down on Wednesday after he uploaded two short videos criticizing Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.
This incident has sparked conversations about the impact of social media on young children and the potential implications of political commentary at such a young age. The removal of Saint West’s YouTube account follows just a month after Kim Kardashian required her son to sign a handwritten contract. The contract, according to the Miami Herald, clearly stated that Saint had to obtain his mother’s approval before posting content on his channel.
It outlined specific rules: “I, Saint West, agree to follow my mom’s rules in order to have a YouTube channel. I am not allowed to comment any personal family information. I am not allowed to film any personal information. I must show my mom or guardian all videos before I post them.”
Despite these safeguards, Saint West’s YouTube channel is currently unavailable, with search results indicating that the page no longer exists. As of now, YouTube has not released an official statement on the channel’s deletion. Reportedly, Saint’s videos included comments about Kamala Harris, calling her “dumb, stupid, crazy, dangerous.” Another video allegedly featured a cartoon character alongside the words, “I stepped in s**t,” with an image of Kamala.
The incident has ignited varied reactions on social media, especially on X, with many expressing both surprise and concern. Some users remarked that Saint may be mimicking the adults around him, with one noting, “That was such a ‘Kanye’ post though,” referencing his father Kanye West’s well-known outspokenness.
