Ruger praises Wizkid for reviving his career after being labelled a flop

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Ruger, has taken to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude to his senior colleague, Wizkid, for his instrumental role in reviving his career.

In a lengthy thread on X, Ruger revealed that he faced significant challenges after parting ways with Jonzing World label. However, things took a positive turn when Wizkid publicly expressed his love for Ruger’s song Make Way.

Ruger acknowledged that Wizkid’s endorsement helped boost his confidence and enabled him to regain his footing in the music industry. At the time, Ruger had been labelled a flop after leaving his former label.

The singer poured out his appreciation for Wizkid’s love and support, stating that the Afrobeats superstar’s backing played a pivotal role in his career resurgence.

Ruger’s heartfelt tribute to Wizkid has sparked widespread reactions on social media.

After the the RnB project I was still struggling coz I wasn’t able to do anything on my own yet. I wasn’t getting it right.
