Nigerian actress Mercy Aigbe’s latest film, Thin Line, has hit a major milestone at the box office, raking in a staggering N100 million in total ticket sales. The film, which premiered in cinemas nationwide on December 13, 2024, has become a resounding success, capturing moviegoers’ attention nationwide.

Cinemax, the movie’s distribution company, proudly shared the achievement on Instagram on Friday, thanking fans for their immense support. “Over 100 million, and it’s all because of you. Thank you all for your love and support,” the post read, celebrating the film’s impressive box office performance.

In a heartfelt response, Aigbe expressed her gratitude to her supporters, acknowledging the hurdles the film had to overcome. “Against all odds, against all the challenges, my amazing movie Thin Line is still thriving and standing tall,” she said, reflecting on the journey to this remarkable success.

Thin Line was produced by Aigbe in collaboration with Kazim Adeoti. The film tells the gripping story of Raymond, a charismatic preacher known for his powerful sermons and relationship advice. His life takes a dramatic turn after a chance encounter with Annie, a desperate prostitute. What starts as a brief lapse in judgment soon spirals into a series of guilt-ridden nights, leading to blackmail and a threat to ruin Raymond’s ministry.

The film features a stellar cast, including Mercy Aigbe herself, Uzor Arukwe, Iyabo Ojo, Olaiya Igwe, The Cute Abiola, Jaiye Kuti, Adeniyi Johnson, Olu ‘Deno’ Adebamowo, Yvonne Jegede, Uche Montana, Prisma James, Akintunde Yusuf, Martins Ogbebor, Nkechi Blessing, Daniella Peters, Motilola Akinlami, and Yekini Ibrahim.
