Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta has sent a message to the club’s supporters as it concerns the possibility of signing players this January transfer window
Mikel Arteta was speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of the North London derby which will be played on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. According to the Spaniard, Arsenal are actively looking to bring in players who can improve the squad to help them compete for trophies this season.
What did Mikel Arteta say about Arsenal signing players?
He said,
“We are actively looking in the market to improve the squad. We are on it”.
Bukayo Saka, Ethan Nwaneri, Ben White, and Takehiro Tomiyasu already sidelined due to injury. These injuries add pressure on the Gunners to make critical moves in the January transfer window particularly to strengthen their attack.
He also spoke about the injury update on Gabriel Jesus who suffered an injury in the FA Cup against Manchester United.
“Unfortunately, Gabriel Jesus’ injury is not looking good. We are very worried, waiting for the final report”
