Man United legend reveals why the club should sign Jude Bellingham

Man United legend Dwight Yorke has revealed why Jude Bellingham should be a top transfer target for the Red Devils.

Dwight Yorke believes Man United should spare no expense in pursuing a transfer for Jude Bellingham, calling him a generational talent worth a massive investment. However, Bellingham has only recently joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund, making any potential move highly unlikely in the near future.

Real Madrid secured his signature after fending off competition from Premier League giants like Liverpool and Manchester City, leveraging their reputation as Europe’s prime destination for young stars. They highlighted players like Vinicius Jr, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Eduardo Camavinga as examples of the elite company Bellingham would join.

Despite his outstanding performances since moving to Spain—playing a key role in Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League triumphs—Yorke believes Bellingham will struggle to be the focal point of the team with superstars like Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe ahead of him in the club’s hierarchy. Drawing parallels to the Galactico era trio of Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, and Luis Figo, Yorke suggests Bellingham may find it hard to emerge as the undisputed leader in a star-studded squad.

Yorke, speaking to CoinCasino.com, expressed his thoughts on Manchester United’s transfer strategy, “To even have a shot at signing Bellingham, Man United would need to shell out at least £150 million. Historically, the club made marquee signings every few years, but it’s been a long time since we’ve had a truly jaw-dropping transfer—probably Zlatan Ibrahimovic back in 2016. A signing like Bellingham would make rivals sit up and say, ‘Wow!’—the kind of move Real Madrid often pulls off.”

“Bellingham would be a perfect fit, but I expect he’ll want to stay at Real Madrid for a few more years to make his mark. Still, he’ll always be behind Mbappe and Vinicius Jr in the pecking order. Mbappe is the face of the club, Vinicius follows, and Bellingham ranks third. He’s fully aware of that hierarchy in the dressing room.”

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s transfer activity has been heating up. The club is reportedly eyeing players like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Francesco Pio Esposito, while also closing in on a young Paraguayan talent. Additionally, Marcus Rashford has attracted interest from AC Milan and Napoli. With Ruben Amorim aiming to reshape the squad, this transfer window promises to be an intriguing one for United fans.
