The director of Bayern Munich, Eberl has cleared the air concerning the current state of the club during this January transfer window.

There were reports in the media that Bayern Munich are reportedly set to land a deal for Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea with the possibility of Mathys Tel. According to him, Bayern Munich are not looking at the possibility of signing new players during this transfer window.

What did Bayern Munich say about Christopher Nkunku rumour?

“We have got no interest in doing anything in January. Nkunku rumours? We are extremely happy with our squad. Tel? You can see he is not playing with freedom, it is up to us to give him time to find his freedom again, we have a squad equipped in terms of quality and quantity”

Chelsea are reportedly set to offload some players before the end of this transfer window as they are ready to allow unhappy players to leave the club at the end of January. The Blues reportedly don’t want to lose Nkunku without a replacement lined up, such as Tel.
