
Nigerian gospel singer Lawrence Oyor has responded to a viral video of popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, singing and dancing to his song Favour.
Bobrisky had shared a clip of himself vibing to the gospel track, which sparked widespread reactions online. In a follow-up video, Lawrence Oyor addressed the moment Bobrisky sang Favour while speaking to his church congregation, expressing his shock and disbelief.
Recalling his reaction upon seeing the video, the gospel minister admitted that he almost disowned the song. He described the experience as unexpected, revealing that for the first time, he doubted himself.
“I saw one of our guys, the most unexpected guy on the internet singing Favour. I almost denied the song. I know some of you didn’t see it, I don’t know how it got to me, somebody sent it to me. I saw Bob, a very risky Bob singing Favour. I had to watch it like three times, the shock! You too? I have never doubted myself like that before. How?” he said.
Lastly, Oyor’s reaction has since sparked conversations on social media. Many shared their thoughts on the unexpected crossover of his song into Bobrisky’s space.
