Despite coming from a modest background where education was prioritized, Ari$to nurtured his dreams through his church choir and school competitions from a young age.
His musical journey began with writing poems and creating acapella versions of his favorite songs in secondary school. After recording voice notes on his iPhone during university, he entered the studio for the first time in 2015, which led to the release of his debut single “Yeah Yeah” in 2016 under the name Mayor.
