Nigerian disk jockey, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about the importance of distancing oneself from certain people for personal growth and peace of mind.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the celebrity disk jockey shared her thoughts on “fasting from people” and how it has positively impacted her life. She revealed that she had to remove certain individuals from her life, while others also chose to walk away. Despite the initial fear, DJ Cuppy admitted that the decision ultimately led to personal growth.
“Fasting from certain people is important… Not everyone is good for you, and sometimes, distance is the best thing you can do for yourself,” Cuppy wrote. “I’ve removed certain people from my life, or they left me… it was scary at first, but honestly, I feel like I’ve progressed so much because of it.”
The billionaire heiress emphasized that prioritizing one’s well-being is not an act of selfishness but a necessary step in maintaining peace. “Protecting your peace isn’t selfish o, it’s necessary,” she added.
