Nigerian rapper Jeriq has opened up about his views on relationships, revealing why he has never been in one and why he doesn’t believe in dating.
During an interview with Glitch Africa, the hip-hop artist shared his skepticism about love and loyalty. He stated that he finds it hard to believe a woman can truly be committed to just one man.
“I don’t believe in the concept of a man and a woman being in a relationship. I don’t believe that a girl can be loved and be loyal to only me. I don’t believe that it’s possible,” he said.
However, Jeriq admitted that if he ever meets a woman who proves him wrong by being genuinely loyal and honest, he would reciprocate the same love and commitment.
“If I see a girl who will be loyal to only me and be honest with me, I will love her and also stay loyal to only her. But it’s not possible,” he added.
The comments of Jeriq about relationships have sparked mixed reactions online. While some agreed with his perspective, others argued that true love and loyalty still exist.
