The family of the late Rikhado Makhado—lovingly known as Riky Rick or Boss Zonke—is honored to announce the release of his powerful posthumous album, Boss Zonke Forever. A deeply personal and celebratory body of work, this 17-track project pays tribute to Riky’s enduring legacy as a trailblazing artist, visionary entrepreneur, style icon, and cultural force.

With a unique blend of sounds, fearless lyrics, and heartfelt emotion, Boss Zonke Forever captures the essence of a man who reshaped South African music and inspired a generation. The album reflects Riky’s dynamic artistry, his unwavering love for music, and his commitment to uplifting others.

The album launches alongside the explosive lead single, “Cishe Ngaposta”, featuring a powerhouse lineup of 25K, Focalistic, Blxckie, K.Keed, Blue Pappi, and Lowfeye. This anthem radiates confidence and ambition, celebrating the hustle, impact, and unmatched style that defined Riky’s legacy. It serves as a reminder of how he championed others behind the scenes while leading from the front.

Among the standout tracks is “Raindrops”, an introspective and emotional journey through Riky’s personal challenges and sacrifices—balancing love, purpose, and ambition. In contrast, “The Chant” is a bold celebration of self-belief, flair, and cultural influence, a declaration of the boss he always was.

“This album is a deeply personal project where Riky was incredibly open about his journey and emotions. We hope it brings comfort and closure to his fans while also delivering a message of hope and resilience,” shares Bianca Naidoo.

True to his spirit, Boss Zonke Forever features a roster of exciting collaborators, including Dee Koala, Gemini Major, Lucille Slade, and Lawd Weezy, each adding their own energy to the album. The result is a powerful celebration of Riky’s unmatched storytelling and creative genius.

Riky Rick’s voice, vision, and mantra—“We never die, we multiply”—continue to echo across the culture. His influence on music, fashion, and youth empowerment remains unforgettable.

Boss Zonke Forever is more than an album—it’s a living legacy. An unshakable reminder that icons never fade.
