Following a star-studded weekend in Lagos that brought together the continent’s biggest names in film and television, Showmax has announced that the full broadcast of the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) is now streaming on the platform.

The award ceremony, which was held on Saturday night in Lagos, brought together the continent’s biggest stars to celebrate the outstanding achievements in African film and television, both in front and behind the cameras. Among the night’s standout winners were Untying Kantai, the Showmax Kenya Original, which earned Best Writing in a TV Series, and Wa Milele, the Showmax Tanzania Original, which took home the award for Best Unscripted Series.
