Cassie Ventura, the ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs, continued her testimony as the prosecution’s star witness in the rapper’s highly publicized trafficking trial on Wednesday. The 38-year-old singer and actress, best known for her hit “Me & You,” provided more shocking details about the alleged abuse she suffered during her relationship with the music mogul.
Taking the stand for a second day, Ventura recalled being coerced into participating in drug-fueled “party events” orchestrated by Diddy, which she claims led to serious health issues. She described enduring recurring urinary tract infections (UTIs), mouth sores from repeated oral activity with lubricant, and gastrointestinal problems.
“It was really painful for a long time,” Ventura said emotionally. “I can’t believe I actually dealt with that.”
Ventura, who is currently pregnant with her third child by husband Alex Fine, further explained that the infections became so persistent that antibiotics were no longer effective, forcing her to rely on opiates to alleviate the pain. She also revealed that she attempted to avoid kissing male escorts to prevent further infections, but alleged that Diddy continued to pressure her into complying with his demands.
In one of the more disturbing moments of her testimony, Ventura described an incident on her 29th birthday when Diddy allegedly forcibly removed her from a bar and forced her to attend one of these events against her will.
She also referenced a well-known 2016 surveillance video that showed Diddy physically assaulting her in a hotel hallway. Ventura testified that Diddy later attempted to manipulate her by falsely claiming he had been arrested.
Throughout her testimony, Ventura emphasized that the violence didn’t end with the events but continued afterward, sometimes occurring in front of hired escorts.
Cassie has yet to face cross-examination by Diddy’s legal team, who argues that she did not endure coercion, but instead consented to the “party events.”
