
Organisers of the 2025 Ballon d’Or have announced when and where the award ceremony will be held.
The prestigious Ballon d’Or ceremony, football’s most anticipated individual accolade, has officially been scheduled for Monday, September 22, 2025.
Organized by France Football, the glittering event will once again take place at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, where the world’s top football talents will gather to celebrate excellence in the sport.
The 69th edition of the Ballon d’Or promises a night of glamour, suspense, and celebration, as players, coaches, and legends of the game await the unveiling of the 2025 winners across multiple categories.
These include the Men’s and Women’s Ballon d’Or, the Kopa Trophy for the best U21 player, the Yashin Trophy for the best goalkeeper, and the Gerd Müller Trophy for top scorer.
With several standout performances across Europe and beyond during the 2024/2025 season, the race for football’s most coveted individual prize is expected to be fiercely contested.
Early favorites include established names and rising stars from top leagues who have lit up the domestic and international stage.
Nominees will be officially announced later this summer, following the end of major club and country competitions.
