Manchester United forward player, Alejandro Ganarcho has sparked controversy about his future at Old Trafford going into the 2025/26 season.
The Portuguese international expressed his displeasure during an interview after Manchester United’s defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final. The Portuguese international was upset that he was not allowed to play in the final despite playing a major role in ensuring Manchester United qualified for the final.
What did Alejandro Garnacho say about Manchester United?
“It’s difficult for all of us. This season has been shit. We lost the final; we didn’t beat anyone in the Premier League. It’s very difficult. Until the final, I played every round helping the team… then the final arrives and I play 20 minutes?! I don’t know.. the final, the season, the whole situation of the club… I will try to enjoy the summer and then we will see what happens”
Garnacho is one of the players who is expected to leave the club before next season after he fell off the pecking order since the arrival of Ruben Amorim.
Manchester United finished 16th on the Premier League table after what has been tagged as the worse in the club’s history.
