
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the appointment of Thomas Frank as its new head coach following the sack of Ange Postelogou.
Tottenham announced the arrival of Thomas Frank on its official website on Thursday, June 12, 2025. The London club terminated Postelogou’s contract who was sacked earlier this month despite leading Spurs to victory in the Europa League final in May 2025.
Frank would be moving to North London having spent seven years in charge of Brentford, and guiding the club from the Championship to the Premier League in 2021.
The decision to appoint Frank followed Spurs having finished 17th in the Premier League last season they lost 22 games out of their 38 matches and finished seven places. However, they have qualified for next season’s Champions League after beating Manchester United in the Europa League final in Bilbao their first major trophy in 17 years.
Frank will be bringing his experience to Spurs having helped the Bees finish in 13th, ninth, 16th, and 10th place during his four seasons in the Premier League.
