R&B powerhouses Brandy and Monica are finally hitting the road together for their first-ever co-headlining tour, aptly titled “The Boy Is Mine.” The 24-city arena tour kicks off on October 16 in Cincinnati and will feature special guests Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and recent American Idol winner Jamal Roberts.
The tour—named after their iconic 1998 duet, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 consecutive weeks—marks a historic reunion between the two vocal legends. Stops include major cities like Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Brooklyn, with the final show scheduled for December 7 in Houston.
“This really is a full-circle moment,” Brandy said in a statement. “Monica and I coming together again isn’t just about the music—it’s about honoring where we came from and how far we’ve both come.”
Over the years, Brandy and Monica’s relationship has seen both tension and reconciliation, but their chemistry has never waned. In addition to their original hit, they reunited for 2012’s “It All Belongs to Me” and again in 2024 for Ariana Grande’s Grammy-nominated “The Boy Is Mine (Remix).”
Monica echoed Brandy’s sentiment, calling the tour “a celebration of our history, our impact, and the fans who have grown with us.”
“Brandy and I have been on our own unique journeys,” she added. “Coming back together in this way is a reminder of the power of respect, strength, and real music.”
