Nigerian rap star Odumodublvck is gearing up for the release of his next studio album, hinting at high-profile collaborations that are set to excite fans and shake up the music scene.
Nigerian rap sensation Odumodublvck is preparing to shake up the hip-hop scene with the release of his highly anticipated album The Industry Machine, set to arrive later in 2025.
In a recent appearance on Radio Jusmen, the rapper unveiled an impressive lineup of guest artists set to feature on the project. Nigerian music heavyweight Davido, alongside UK rap powerhouses Skepta and Stormzy, will all contribute to the album, which will mark Odumodublvck’s third full-length release in as many years.
“The Industry Machine will feature Davido, Skepta, Stormzy. It’s intense and it’s going to change a lot for us,” he revealed during the interview.
Odumodublvck also drew a bold comparison between his previous project The Machine Is Coming and the biblical figure John the Baptist, describing the EP as a precursor to his forthcoming album. He emphasized that The Industry Machine will firmly establish him as a dominant force in the game.
The collaboration with Davido will be their second musical effort together, following his appearance on Funds from Davido’s recently released fifth studio album 5ive. Odumodublvck and Skepta also previously joined forces on Jangilova, a track that featured British actor and rapper Idris Elba.
Beyond music, Odumodublvck remains embroiled in a high-profile feud with fellow rapper Blaqbonez. He used the interview platform to criticize Blaqbonez’s claim of being Nigeria’s best rapper, calling it a disrespect to the genre’s pioneers.
The tension between the two artists escalated recently after Blaqbonez appeared on A-Q’s track Who’s Really Rapping, which contained subliminal jabs aimed at Odumodublvck.
