Nigerian singer Terry G has finally spoken out against claims that his career faded after he adopted the name Terry Gzus.
In a recent Instagram post, the Free Madness crooner shared a striking photo alongside a caption aimed at clearing the air. Addressing long-standing rumours, Terry G insisted that his career didn’t end with the name change but was instead divinely redirected.
Terry G went on to explain that Gzus is not a reference to Jesus Christ, but rather a personal symbol representing “the God in me — fearless, chosen, and unapologetic.”
Terry G further declared that changing a name cannot destroy a person’s destiny or calling, adding, “What’s ordained can’t be cancelled.”
