Nigerian music powerhouse Olamide has released his long anticipated self-titled album, “Olamidé”, on June 19, 2025, via YBNL Nation and Empire. The 17-track project is a genre blending masterpiece that fuses Afrobeats, hip-hop, and dancehall, showcasing Olamide’s growth and relevance after over a decade at the top.

Featuring a dynamic mix of local and international stars, Wizkid, Asake, Seyi Vibez, Young Jonn, BOJ, Daecolm, Popcaan, Darkoo, Dr. Dre, and DJ Spinall, the album delivers standout records like “Kai!” and the all star banger “99”. A music video for “Billionaire Club” featuring Wizkid and Darkoo, directed by TG Omori, further amplified the album’s impact.

To celebrate the release, an exclusive listening session was held on the morning of June 19, from 8am to 11am, offering a first listen to select media figures and tastemakers. The event was hosted by VJ Adams and Busola, and attended by influential media personalities including Kemi Smallz, Dotun (Energy Gad), Taymi B, Olaitan Salaudeen, Kiki Omotoki, Melody, Toolz, and Kaylah.

The album and video promotion were handled by media strategist Olaitan Salaudeen, who played a key role in securing traditional media coverage and press visibility across radio and TV.

“Olamidé” is not just another release, it’s a powerful reminder of Olamide’s cultural influence, creative evolution, and unshakable status as one of Africa’s most important musical figures.
