
In a shocking turn of event, Liverpool football star Diogo Jota and his brother have reportedly died in a car accident.
According to reports from Daily Mail UK and Portuguese media houses, Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has died at the age of 28 following a car accident in Spain.
It was reported that Jota was in a vehicle with his 26-year-old brother André, who also plays professional football, when the car veered off the road.
The crash reportedly took place on the A-52 highway in the Zamora region.This heartbreaking development comes just two weeks after Jota tied the knot with his longtime partner, Rute Cardoso, in Porto.
Fans are however still waiting official confirmation from Liverpool Football Club and the Portuguese national team.
