Stilo Magolide Shares The Inspiration Behind Naming His Upcoming Album “Stilo Way.” In a candid interview with Hype Magazine, Stilo Magolide opened up about the inspiration behind the title of his highly anticipated project, Stilo Way — a title that promises more than just a name, but a declaration of artistic freedom and personal truth.
When asked why he chose to call the album Stilo Way, the South African rapper delivered an honest and reflective answer:
“Because, more than anything, I think over the years I’ve done so many things in my life according to what I thought was cool for the time, or what people around me and situations or circumstances were giving to me. This is probably one of the main projects that’s done 100% my way. No outside influences in any way, shape or form. In a weird way, it feels like my first album. But technically, it’s my sophomore album, but it feels like my first, just the way it’s put together. The stories that are being told and there’s a lot of unpacking in a way.”
This glimpse into the creative process hints at a project deeply personal and unapologetically authentic. While Stilo Way is officially his second album, Stilo Magolide describes it as a fresh start — a clean slate where his voice and vision are unfiltered and undiluted by external pressures or trends.
Fans can expect a body of work that not only marks growth but also invites listeners to journey through Stilo’s stories — layered narratives shaped by his unique experiences and reflections. The album promises a raw, unvarnished look at the artist behind the music, making it a highly anticipated release for both longtime followers and new listeners alike.
Although Stilo Way has not yet dropped, this preview of the album’s ethos builds excitement and sets the stage for what could be one of Stilo Magolide’s most defining projects to date.
