Man United have received the first official bid for Jadon Sancho as the 2025/2026 club football season draws closer.
AS Roma have officially submitted the first bid for Jadon Sancho to Man United, signaling their strong interest in securing his services ahead of the 2025/2026 football season in the Serie A.
The Italian side has reportedly tabled a £20 million offer to the Premier League side for a permanent move, while also keeping the door open for a loan deal with an option to buy.
Discussions are currently underway, with the final decision resting in the hands of Manchester United’s management and Sancho’s representatives.
United’s Ruben Amorim who was appointed following the departure of Erik ten Hag, is expected to play a key role in determining the player’s future.
Sancho, who joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, has experienced an inconsistent spell at Old Trafford.
His form and game time have fluctuated, and a move could offer him a fresh start in a different league.
AS Roma, led by their sporting director and backed by the vision of manager Gian Piero Gasperini, are keen to bolster their attacking options and believe Sancho’s creativity and flair could be pivotal to their ambitions in Serie A and European competitions.
In addition to Sancho, Roma are also in contact with Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey, exploring the possibility of strengthening their squad with multiple attacking reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
The coming days will be decisive, as both clubs work to determine whether Sancho will be making the switch to the Italian capital.
