The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) has announced that its international jury is highly impressed by the overwhelming response to the call for entries for the 2025 edition.
In just four weeks, the submission portal has recorded a massive influx of entries from artistes, producers, DJs, choreographers, and other creatives across Africa and the diaspora.
With submissions set to close on August 8, 2025, the organiZers have urged eligible participants to take advantage of the remaining weeks. This year’s eligibility window covers works released between August 8, 2024, and August 8, 2025.
According to AFRIMA, all submissions must be made exclusively via the official portal as email entries will not be considered.
The 2025 edition is scheduled to take place in Lagos, Nigeria, with the much-anticipated AFRIMA Awards Week holding from November 25 to 30, culminating in the main awards ceremony on November 30. The event will be broadcast to audiences in 84 countries, further celebrating the diversity and excellence of African music on a global stage.
