Afrobeats Stars Rema & Ruger to Headline Afro Jam Festival 2025 in Japan

Afrobeats sensations Rema and Ruger are set to electrify Japan this July as part of the Afro Jam Festival 2025, a vibrant celebration of African, Caribbean, and global music. The festival, renowned for its diverse artist lineup, will span multiple cities across Japan.

Rema, the chart-topping artist behind hits like ‘Calm Down,’ ‘Hehehe,’ and ‘Charm,’ will perform on July 20 in Okinawa, July 22 in Osaka, and July 27 in Tokyo.

Ruger, known for his infectious tracks ‘Bounce’ and ‘Asiwaju,’ will bring his dynamic energy to the stage on July 23 in Osaka and July 25 in Tokyo.

Adding to the Afrobeats representation, Ghanaian singer Gyakie, celebrated for her hits ‘Forever’ and ‘Something,’ will perform on July 18 in Okinawa, July 24 in Osaka, and July 27 in Tokyo.

South African duo TitoM & Yuppe, who rose to fame with ‘Tshwala Bam,’ are also set to perform at the festival on July 26 at the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza.

The Afro Jam Festival 2025 boasts an impressive roster of international stars, including Jason Derulo, Shenseea, The Wailers, Saweetie, and many more, promising attendees an unforgettable fusion of musical styles and cultural experiences.
