Fresh off the success of their 2022 EP, Bad Boy Etiquette 101, the Nigerian duo Ajebo Hustlers are back with more. This time, they’re armed with a bigger tracklist, a star-studded lineup, and a project that further cements their position as the hottest duo in the country. Entitled Bad Boy Etiquette 102: Continuous Assessment, the sequel EP feels like a refinement in evolution, building upon the foundation laid by its predecessor.

Ajebo Hustlers build upon the infectious melodies and smooth lyricism of the previous version, which housed standout tracks like Dreams and the Mayorkun-assisted No Love (18 Plus). Those elements are still very much present in Bad Boy Etiquette 102, and with a significant upgrade. The offering boasts a wider sonic palette, encompassing a tasteful blend of diverse sounds that cater to a broader range of listeners. It’s quintessentially Ajebo Hustlers, yet feels like a more mature and polished version of their signature style.

The expansion doesn’t stop at the music. Bad Boy Etiquette 102 comes with a significant tracklist increase, which sees Ajebo Hustlers exhibit their versatility across more songs. This, however, doesn’t come at the expense of quality. Each track feels meticulously crafted, maintaining the standards fans have come to expect.

The true cherry on top, however, is the impressive list of collaborators gracing the project. From the veteran Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie to the streetwise king Zlatan, Ajebo Hustlers have assembled a dream team of features. Raving acts like Odumodublvck, Blaqbonez, Jeriq, Magixx, and Raebel also lend their talents, creating a true melting pot of Nigerian music royalty.

The title, Bad Boy Etiquette 102: Continuous Assessment, hints at a potential series in the making. Imagine a world where Ajebo Hustlers continue to refine their “Bad Boy Etiquette” with each iteration, dropping sequels that showcase their growth.

One thing is for sure, Ajebo Hustlers have delivered a project that lives up to the hype of their earlier work, and surpasses it in the major ways. Bad Boy Etiquette 102: Continuous Assessment strongly testifies to their growth, it’s a celebration of collaboration, and a guaranteed treat for the lovers of good music.
