Ghanaian singer, Amaarae has inked a groundbreaking deal with Bad Habit, a distinguished label, management, and publishing company established in 2015.

This was revealed in a social media post on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

Renowned for its collaborations with industry giants such as Atlantic Records, Warner Chappell, and the Alternative Distribution Alliance, Bad Habit offers unparalleled opportunities for its artists to flourish in the music industry.

Amaarae, whose meteoric rise commenced with the release of her album Fountain Baby, is slated to join an illustrious lineup of talents on Bad Habit’s roster, including Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy.

The deal, as explained by pop-culture journalist, Olele Salvador, represents a co-partnership agreement with Amaarae’s independent label, Golden Child Entertainment Ltd. Under the purview of her new home, Amaarae’s day-to-day operations, career strategy, shows, tours, and collaborations with Interscope, the label behind Fountain Baby, will be meticulously curated.

With Bad Habit’s extensive experience and global reach, Amaarae is poised to aggressively penetrate new international markets, with a specific focus on Asian and South American territories, as noted by Olele Salvador in an exclusive interview with Legit.ng.

“We’ve witnessed Bad Habit’s role in shaping Burna Boy into the megastar he is today. With Amaarae, we anticipate strategic international collaborations and high-profile endorsements beyond music,” Salvador remarked.

Amaarae’s previous forays into prestigious events such as the Grammys and VMAs set the stage for potential global accolades in the coming years under the stewardship of Bad Habit. With this groundbreaking partnership, Amaarae emerges as a frontrunner in the global music scene, poised for unparalleled success and recognition on an international scale.
