Ghana-American songstress Amaarae has unveiled a a dazzling new EP titled roses are red, tears are blue. The project serves as a companion piece to her critically acclaimed album Fountain Baby, released back in June 2023.

roses are red, tears are blue isn’t your typical EP. It’s a double-disc experience, offering a deep dive into Amaarae’s creative universe. Disc 1 functions as a true extension of Fountain Baby, brimming with seven brand-new tracks. These fresh offerings further explore the sonic tapestry and lyrical themes Amaarae weaved on her album.

Disc 2 takes a retrospective approach, featuring the entirety of the Fountain Baby album. Here, listeners can revisit standout tracks like the popular Angel in Tibet and the sultry Reckless & Sweet.

American singer 6lack, known for his smooth vocals and introspective lyrics, brought a touch of R&B finesse.
